Seamus Carolan stays close to home with Jr. Hat Tricks

It’s been a big week for the local contingent for the Jr. Hat Tricks, as another player from the Constitution State joins the team. Fairfield native Seamus Carolan will sport black-and-orange in the 2020-21 season.

Carolan comes to the Jr. Hat Tricks from the Fairfield Prep School, where he was a dual-sport varsity athlete in hockey and lacrosse. His physicality and athleticism particularly impressed the Jr. Hat Tricks’ coaching staff.

“I’ve known Seamus for a few years and have always admired his game,” said head coach Kevin Cunningham. “He plays with an edge and has been an integral part of a tremendous winning culture during his high school career. I look forward to watching his progress.”

“Being from Connecticut, I knew I wanted to stay in New England,” explained Carolan of his decision to sign with the team. “[This region] has a high level of competition and exposure to top end hockey schools. Danbury seemed like a great place to develop and grow my game while being directed by a great coaching staff.”
