DANBURY, CT – The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (2-8-0-1) host the Bay State Bobcats (3-7-0-1) for a 7 p.m. contest on Sunday.

The Hat Tricks offense is led by Daniel Khatib, who has scored over a point per game this season. Khatib has eight goals and three assists in 10 games for Danbury.

Nick Rogers returned to Danbury for the last four games and has scored five goals, dominating play for long stretches when on the ice.

“We have to focus on the details,” said head coach Tyler Noseworthy. “We’re very detail-oriented on a weekly basis and sometimes it just doesn’t find its way into the game.”

Danbury last played against Bay State on October 3rd, a game the Bobcats took in a shootout. This will be the third meeting between the two teams this season. In the first meeting on Sept. 22nd, the Hat Tricks recorded one of their two wins of the season with a 3-1 victory on the road.

“I think we’re a different team even from the last time we played them,” said Noseworthy. “We have a really gifted offensive team so I feel like, with the right effort, that kind of takes care of itself.”

Bay State enters after a contest against Long Beach on Saturday. The Bobcats dropped the game 3-1 at home.

Bay State is led by Landon Boothe who has eight points in 11 games and is tied with Ian Skinner, Tima Basarab and Jace Desmarais for the team lead with three goals each.

Tickets are available at and the game can be seen on HockeyTV.
