LONG BEACH, NY – The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (7-9-0-1) travel to Long Beach, New York to take on the Long Beach Sharks (13-4-1-1).
The Hat Tricks have won five of their last six contests, most recently sinking the Norwich Sea Captains on 4-3 Friday afternoon.
Nikita Kovalev had a goal and an assist in that game and leads the way for Danbury, totaling 18 points on 10 goals and eight assists.
Brennan Churchill has stepped into the Hat Tricks net and has two wins in two games. Churchill made 34 saves in the win on Friday.
Long Beach enters Sunday’s game atop the NA3HL East Division with 28 points.
Tyler Zembrzycki paces the Sharks with 10 goals and 23 points this season. Long Beach has kept the puck away from its own net very well this season.
