JR. HAT TRICKS TRAVEL TO NEW JERSEY FOR MID-WEEK MATINEE

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (3-8-0-1) hit the road to take on the New Jersey Titans (8-2-0-0) Wednesday at noon.

The Hat Tricks last played on Oct. 24, when they defeated the Bay State Bobcats 3-1. In that game, the Nikita Kovalev scored his fifth goal of the season halfway through the first period and the Hat Tricks never looked back.

Lorenzo Rossi made 29 of 30 saves and Nick Rogers continued his hot stretch, scoring his sixth goal in five games.

After nine days, the Hat Tricks will take the ice again on Wednesday in New Jersey.

“Last game is over and done with and it was great to get that W, said head coach Tyler Noseworthy. “But now our focus is on New Jersey. They stole two from us [last time] and we owe them a hard-fought game.”

“I thought our compete-level and intensity were very high in practice yesterday,” said Noseworthy. “We will look to bring that energy to Jersey and keep the train rolling. It’s time to chop wood and carry water.”

New Jersey enters the contest in third place in the NA3HL East Division and is led by defenseman Samuel Senft.

Senft has six goals and eight assists in ten games this season.

Puck drop is at noon on Wednesday and the game can be seen on HockeyTV.
