HOLYOKE, MA – The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (21-15-1-3 46 pts) head on the road to face the Bay State Bobcats (15-26-1-1, 32 pts) on Saturday evening.
Saturday will start a road back-to-back for the Hat Tricks as they will head to Long Beach on Sunday morning to face the Sharks.
Danbury has reached the final five games of its season, having clinched a playoff spot a few games ago.
After a slow start to the season, Danbury has been a difficult team to beat over the last few months. The turnaround has been led by a strong defensive performance.
The addition of Martins Leps added physicality to the back-end for Danbury and goaltending has been superb over the last month.
Brennan Churchill has earned points in 11 of 16 starts and has recorded nine wins along the way. In those 16 games, Churchill has posted a .930 save-percentage and a 2.59 goals-against-average.
Saturday’s game begins at 5:40 p.m. and can be seen on HockeyTV.
