JR. HAT TRICKS HEAD TO NORWICH FOR FRIDAY MATINEE

NORWICH, CT โ€“ The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (6-9-0-1) travel to Norwich, Connecticut for a noon contest with the Norwich Sea Captains (2-12-1-0) on Friday.

Danbury heads into the game on its best run of the year, winning four of its last five games.

The Hat Tricks have a plus-four goal differential in that stretch and have allowed just one goal in each of their last two games.

Danbury last took the ice against the same Norwich team on Nov. 13, skating to a 2-1 victory at home.

The Hat Tricks are led by Daniel Khatib (15 GP, 10-5-15) and Nikita Kovalev (14 GP, 8-7-15) this season.

Kovalev and Elijah Devereaux (8 GP, 4-5-9) both were named Eastern Division Honorable Mention Players of the Week for last week.

Norwich is led by Ethan Ranger, who has seven goals and 16 points this season over 15 games.

Teagen Beier has also scored seven times for Norwich this season.
