ATTLEBORO, MA – The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks travel to face the Northeast Generals in a decisive Game 3 on Sunday.
Danbury used a 46-save performance from goaltender Brennan Churchill in Game 2 to keep its season alive at home on Saturday night.
Late in a tied game, Nick Rogers went coast-to-coast to score and give the Hat Tricks their first lead of the game with 4:45 remaining in regulation. Rogers added an empty-net goal to ice the game with 1:05 left.
Danbury became the first East Division team to beat Northeast all season on Saturday night. Previously, the Generals were 46-0-0 this season against teams in the division.
On Sunday, the Hat Tricks will have to become the first team to beat Northeast in Attleboro to keep their season alive.
