HOLYOKE, MA – The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (14-11-0-3, 31 pts) finished off a two-win weekend with a 4-1 road-win over the Bay State Bobcats (8-19-1-1, 18 pts).
Danbury fell behind 7:49 into the game, but they responded with a strong performance for the final 50-plus minutes of the game.
Dylan Walker ignited the Hat Tricks with his eighth goal of the season at 11:50, assisted by Elijah Devereaux (18).
Walker’s goal was the first of three in just under four minutes for Danbury. Antonio Felidi added his third of the season 1:48 later. Ivan Kovalev then buried his fifth 1:38 after Felidi’s tally.
The outburst led the Hat Tricks to a 3-1 lead after the first period. The teams skated to a scoreless second and headed to the third with the same score.
Danbury added insurance with Seth Beagle’s fifth halfway through the third. Felidi assisted on the score alongside Reese Tamburo (7), who also recorded a two-point night.
“I’m happy that we won both games,” said head coach Tyler Noseworthy. “However, for me, this wasn’t the best weekend for us…A hard week of practice coming up.”
The Jr. Hat Tricks return home on Saturday when they host the New Jersey Titans.
