JR. HAT TRICKS AIM FOR WIN OVER SECOND-PLACE LONG BEACH

DANBURY, CT – The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (16-11-1-3, 36 pts) host the Long Beach Sharks (18-9-1-3, 40 pts) on Sunday night in Danbury Arena’s Liberty Rink.

The Hat Tricks have points in each of their last five games, including four wins over that stretch.

Nikita Kovalev has been unstoppable of late, recording eight goals and 11 points over his last three games. Over the season, Kovalev leads the Jr. Hat Tricks in goals (27) and points (44).

Tyler Zembrzycki is the leading point-scorer for the Sharks with 31 this season. Jake Weikel is Long Beach’s leading goal-scorer with 20 in 31 games.

The Hat Tricks and Sharks are separated by four standings points as the teams head closer to the end of the season. A win on Sunday would put the Hat Tricks within two points of Long Beach for second place in the division.
