HAT TRICKS LOOK TO RIDE MOMENTUM INTO SUNDAY NIGHT CONTEST

HOLYOKE, MA – The Danbury Hat Tricks of the NA3HL play for the second straight day today, as they travel to Holyoke to take on the Bay State Bobcats.

The Hat Tricks are 3-0-2 against the Bobcats so far this season, earning points in all five meetings. The Hat Tricks have been riding a hot streak as of late, earning points in eight of their last ten contests.

“If you give Bay State an inch they can take you a mile,” commented Hat Tricks head coach Tyler Noseworthy. “We gotta go out from the puck drop and dictate the pace of the game. If we do that we can get out of there with a win.”

Yesterday afternoon the Hat Tricks won a hotly contested battle with the Long Beach Sharks on the road. The Hat Tricks and Sharks went into the third period tied before Reese Tamburo scored what looked like the game-winner with 1:21 left. But Long Beach would answer with only 38 seconds left to send the game to overtime.

The game would eventually be decided in the shootout where goals from Nick Rogers and Nikita Kovalev would be enough to win.

After tonight’s game, the NA3HL Hat Tricks will return home for a Saturday night game against the New Jersey Titans next weekend.
