DANBURY, CT – The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (15-11-0-3, 33 pts) host the Northeast Generals (28-2-0-0, 56 pts) on Monday night at 7 p.m.

The Hat Tricks enter after a convincing 8-0 win on Saturday night against New Jersey. In the win, Nikita Kovalev recorded four goals and an assist to lead Danbury to the win. Kovalev leads the team with 38 points so far this season.

Brennan Churchill stopped 23 shots to record his fourth shutout of the season. He is now 7-2-0-1 in 10 games for the Hat Tricks.

Danbury has won six of seven games and the win on Saturday was their first game at Danbury Arena since a Dec. 14th shootout loss to Northeast. The Hat Tricks are in the midst of a stretch playing four-of-five games at home.

Northeast enters as the first-place team in the division. Led by Matthew Nuzzolilo’s 39 points and Nolan Murphy’s 20 goals, the Generals lead the East Division in total goals by 55.
