LONG BEACH, NY – The Danbury Hat Tricks (1-6-0-1) fell to the Long Beach Sharks (6-2-0-0) Saturday on the road 4-1.

The Hat Tricks offense was boosted by the addition of Nick Rogers, who created multiple chances throughout the game.

A Sharks goal from Logan Plante goal at 3:51 of the first period put the Hat Tricks in an early hole.

Rogers generated a few good chances in the latter stages of the first, but a Jake Weikel goal just 97 seconds into the second period put the Sharks up by two.

The Hat Tricks responded with Oleg Egorov’s second goal of the season, but a goal late in the second sunk the Hat Tricks.

Egorov’s goal was assisted by Reese Tamburo (2) and Daniel Khatib (2).

The Tricks couldn’t get much going in the third period and dropped the game 4-1. The Hat Tricks are back in action tomorrow night at home against the Northeast Generals.

Tickets are available for the 7 p.m. game at danburyhattricksna3.com and it will be available to watch on HockeyTV.
