HAT TRICKS EXPLODE FOR SIX IN THIRD, WIN 7-4

The NA3HL Hat Tricks returned to action on Wednesday for an afternoon tilt against the Norwich Sea Captains on the road. Despite trailing 3-1 entering the third, the Hat Tricks would explode for six goals in the frame winning 7-4.

The Hat Tricks and Norwich traded blows through the first period, but Norwich would eventually break through and take a 1-0 lead with a goal with only 1:05 remaining in the frame.

The second period would open with Nick Rogers scoring to even up the score before the Hat Tricks surrendered two straight goals to end the period to make it 3-1 Norwich entering the final frame.

The tides changed in the third period as the Hat Tricks exploded for six goals and put away their NA3HL Eastern Division rivals.

The third opened the Hat Tricks and Sea Captains exchanging goals before the Hat Tricks went on an absolute tear. Danbury would score five straight goals turning a 4-2 deficit into a 7-4 victory.

Nick Rogers notched a Hat Trick, giving him five goals in three games so far this season. Daniel Khatib, Elijah Devereaux, and Eryk Francher all registered a goal and an assist. Netminder Lorenzo Rossi had a solid afternoon, amassing 38 saves on 42 shots in the first win of his junior career.

The Hat Tricks will remain on the road for a game on Friday evening in Attleboro against the Northeast Generals. After that the Hat Tricks will return home for a contest on Sunday evening against the New Jersey Titans.
