DANBURY, CT – The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (1-5-0-1) travel to meet the Long Beach Sharks (5-2-0-0) for a Saturday afternoon contest at 4 p.m.

This will be the third time in four games the Hat Tricks are skating against the Sharks. Both of the previous two matchups ended in Long Beach victories.

For the first time this season, the Hat Tricks are traveling to Long Beach for a road contest with the Sharks.

Daniel Khatib leads the Hat Tricks with seven goals in six games. Khatib was named an honorable mention for the NA3HL’s September forward of the month award.

The last time these teams played proved to be an offensive affair, with Long Beach winning 10-6. The two teams combined for 16 goals, seven of which came in the second period.

Khatib and Nikita Kovalev both netted a pair of goals for the Hat Tricks, while Dylan Harbour scored a hat trick for the Sharks.

Head Coach Tyler Noseworthy wasn’t pleased with his team’s performance after the last time out against Long Beach.

“The other team wanted it more than we did,” said Noseworthy. “Simple as that. Without the will compete for 60 minutes, success will be hard to come by.”

The Sharks are led by Tyler Zembrzycki, who has four goals and 12 points this season, and Harbour, who has four goals and 10 points.

Puck drop for today’s game is at 4 p.m. in Long Beach. The game can be seen on HockeyTV.
