Forward Dylan Webber is returning to the Hat City. The ’00-born Johnston, RI native was a consistent producer for the Colonials last season and will look to build on his solid performance as a Jr. Hat Trick.
Webber finished with 43 points in 46 games on the year. He finished the season on a torrid pace, notching six multi-point games in his last nine outings.
“When I heard I had an opportunity to return to Danbury, the first thing that came to my mind was, ‘where do I sign?'” Webber joked. “I was so excited about coming back with so many great guys last year who are some of the best friends I’ve ever met. We’ve also got one of the best coaching staffs I’ve ever worked with in my life. I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together.”
“Dylan is a tremendous two-way player who contributes in all situations,” commented head coach Kevin Cunningham. “Dylan recorded two huge overtime points for us last season, he’s a big time player. We’re thrilled to have him back.”
Cunningham relied heavily on Webber at all three strengths last year, as the forward tallied five powerplay goals and two shorthanded out of 15 total on the season.
