DANBURY, CT – Jr. Hat Tricks forward Daniel Khatib was named an honorable mention for the NA3HL forward of the month award for September.

In the month of September, Khatib shined for the Hat Tricks. In four September games, Khatib netted five goals and an assist for six points in the month.

In his first game of the season, Khatib made his presence felt with a hat trick against New Jersey on Sept. 18. He had two multi-point games in September and scored goals in three of four games in the month.

“The glimmer that we are seeing so far this season from our team is on the offensive side of the puck, and Daniel is a huge part of that,” said Hat Tricks head coach Tyler Noseworthy. “We have a guy who is fourth in the league in goals and once we solidify our back end we believe we can compete with anyone in this league.”

Khatib has started October strongly, scoring twice in two games so far this month.

The Hat Tricks are back in action on Sunday at home against Northeast, puck drop at 7 p.m.
