DANBURY, CT – The Danbury Hat Tricks organization has teams representing both the NAHL and NA3HL, making the transition from tier III to tier II that much easier for the players in the building.
This weekend the NAHL Hat Tricks will be on the road taking on the first place Maryland Black Bears and Reese Tamburo will be on the bus with the boys.
Tamburo has played the whole season with the NA3HL Tricks, amassing four goals and five assists in eleven games. But today, Tamburo signed a tender to join the NAHL with a chance to play this weekend’s games against Maryland.
“It’s important for these guys to come into this building at the NA3 level and be able to take advantage of the opportunity and get the call down the hallway to the NAHL team,” mentioned NA3 head coach Tyler Noseworthy. “I think that drives the competitiveness on a daily basis and helps bring high-end junior players to our building.”
Tamburo started out in the NAPHL, played this season at the NA3HL, and now has a chance to play in the NAHL showing the success of the North American junior and youth leagues that fall under the same umbrella.
“Being the head coach of the NA3 and an assistant on the NAHL lets me see how these guys push each other every day to be accountable,” continued Noseworthy. “Not only the accountability, but it also raises the level of competitiveness within the building and gets the best out of all of our guys.”
The NAHL will be on the road for a Friday and Saturday series against Maryland, you can catch all the action live on HockeyTV. Friday is slated for a 7:30 puck drop and Saturday will start at 7. The NA3HL Hat Tricks will be back in action on December 1st against New Jersey.
