Danbury Adds Hadley to Goaltending Corps

The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks have signed 2001 goaltender Nathan Hadley for the 2020-21 season. The Anoka, MN native split last season between the Alexandria Blizzard and New England Stars, both in the NA3HL. He recorded a 2.77 goals against average and a .912 save percentage over nine appearances for the two teams.

Prior to his NA3HL experience, Hadley spent three years on the varsity at Anoka High School. During his senior year (2018-19 season) he recorded a 3.10 goals against average and a .913 save percentage. Hadley also served as a captain for the Tornados during his senior season. He has already appeared in one game for Danbury on October 15 when he recorded 24 saves in a 4-3 loss to the New Jersey Titans.

Hadley explained his decision to come to Danbury saying, “I am stoked to be here with the Jr. Hat Tricks organization. We have a great group of guys with a lot of potential. I look forward to fulfilling my role and contributing the successes of the team for the remainder of the season.”

“We are thrilled to add Nathan to our goaltending corps and team as a whole. He has proven himself to be a strong goaltender in this league after displaying his skills and leadership at the high school level. Nathan is a talented goaltender with great focus and determination. We a fortunate to add a young man with his talent and character,” commented head coach Kevin Cunningham.
